Imagine. You’re living in the musically debaucherous world of HBO’s The Idol, but there are two key differences. One, The 9th Floor is in complete control, and two, there’s no Tedros, aka The Weeknd, involved. Sorry, Abel.

Now, you only have minutes to get ready and wear your sexiest leather because we’re taking two tequila shots and immediately driving to an underground, late-night spot to recruit a menagerie of incredible talent that might have gone unnoticed if it weren’t for the exquisite ear of The 9th Floor.

As the brisk metropolis air collides against your cheek, we tease your palette with BAMBII (aka Kirsten Azan), a Toronto producer who “bends time and space to her will” with club bangers that are free of “stylistic constraints.” It’s the perfect introduction to the electronic scene, or if you’re a frequent visitor, a delightful reminder of the sound that makes you feel good inside.

As we pull up to the shadiest warehouse on the darkest street, you feel reverberation creep around the corner, beckoning you into a dark alley leading to the best after-hours night of your life. Our favorites will be there tonight: Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Janelle Monae, Doechii, Victoria Monet, Troye Sivan, Christine and the Queens, and more, but we’re here for the hidden gems — the new faces.

Introducing Gordo (f.k.a. Carnage), an American/Nicaraguan DJ and Producer who produced a good chunk of Drake’s house/dance album, “Honestly, Nevermind,” so you know he’s worth a listen. He’s graced the stages of Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Tomorrowland, and now he’s taken a welcomed residence on The 9th Floor.

Everything goes silent in the warehouse, and a single spotlight hovers over Joe Daccache, who’s quickly making a name for himself — catching the eyes of Jennifer Hudson, Zoe Wees, and Adrienne Houghton — and now, us. His high-pitch sounds like an angel dipped in sweet chocolate as he brings a new perspective on sexuality, religion, and culture through his music.

Now that we’re peaking, let’s get out of here and take the party back to the mansion, where we can enjoy the music on another level. You notice new faces along for the ride. Mon RovÎa, whose namesake is from Liberia, where they escaped life as a child soldier to become a transracially adopted refugee of missionaries turned music artist with a sound intended to heal the world. It’s what you need.

As we kick back poolside and absorb the vibes, one last notably creative creature steps into your view — Projektbau, initially based in Berlin but influenced by the genres of the world, weaving them together to create a “coherent but unique sound to tell personal stories authentically.” Experience the energy of the German nightlife in the comfort of your own space.

The perfect menagerie of musical talent is now in your hands: new, old, favorite, and unfamiliar all in one place, thanks to The 9th Floor Media Playlist. Enjoy 100 songs, 5 hours, and 14 minutes of the sexiest music for the start of your autumnal desires.

Start from the beginning and enjoy the sequence 🙂
